In the Spring of 2004, I traveled the roads of the Mohawk trail on
numerous occasions. I  enjoyed the natural beauty of the trail, but it
was the waterfalls truly captured my attention. They were colorful
and tranquil at times, other times fierce and deadly; but somehow
always soothing and comforting. By the Fall, I was both inspired and
intrigued.  Could I capture these gorgeous views and preserve them
on camera?   I've never had a strong desire to take pictures,
photography was never something I gave much thought to, until I
started taking pictures of waterfalls. Little did I know at that time,
how much beauty I missed in the world around me. Looking through
the lens of a camera gave me sight. Once I became serious about
taking pictures, I discovered the difference between noticing
something and actually seeing something.
Waterfalls are my passion at this time, however, I have been
expanding my creativity and taking pictures of pets and children.
They can be challenging at times, but just like waterfalls, candid and
pure. I am confident that within a year , I will probably have some
extremely unique photos to add to my
portfolio. My camera and I do not plan to separate, I do believe I
found my love.
